"Excellent staff care"

About: Box Hill Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My child recently stayed for a few days at Box Hill Hospital Paediatric Ward 5.1. The care given by the nursing staff there was excellent. Everyone was pleasant and showed compassion to both my child and myself in our unexpected and unpleasant situation. We were always kept informed of what the plan was and when it was likely to happen. Even the nurse unit manager came to see how we were doing!

In a situation that we did not want to be in, they made it so comforting to our family. And for this I am truly thankful to all the staff there. I feel you are all excellent at your jobs.

I was so pleased to read of the impact the staff had on you and so clearly demonstrated the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility.
