My infant child had been unwell recently and progressively got worse throughout the day. We made the decision to bring my child to Box Hill Hospital to be assessed. From the moment we walked through the door we felt nothing but support and care for our child. From triage to the paediatric area of ED to the fantastic nurses and doctors on 5.3, we felt our child was in the absolute best hands.
My child was assessed straight away by a lovely ED nurse by the name of Julia and a lovely doctor. The decision was made to admit my child and monitor overnight. The moment we were moved to 5.3 we had a bed ready for myself and were shown around the ward. We felt very welcome and supported.
Throughout the time our child was in Box Hill Hospital the care they received was fantastic. The nurses and doctors made us feel nothing but ease which as a parent of a small child is what you need. Our child was thoroughly assessed and constantly monitored. We cannot express our thanks and gratitude enough. Thank you to all the fantastic staff that looked after our child and ourselves whilst at Box Hill Hospital
