"My parent's respite stay"

My parent had a single room with a door to the outside. The door could not be secured from inside or out. I spoke to the staff & this was not rectified by the time my parent left 1 week later. I believe this is a security risk for residents who may have confusion or issues with wandering but is also insecure against possible intruders. The side gate outside, which allowed access to Nepean Hwy, was also not secured.

I felt the promised activities were minimal. My parent was bored and lonely during their stay. They will not return & we will not recommend this facility.

My parent was very happy with the food provided.
