(as the patient),

I went to the Emergency Department, Wonthaggi Hospital recently. I was informed that there was an emergency in the Department and there could be a bit of a wait. After about 3 hours, I saw a Dr James. He diagnosed my problem as a kidney and bladder infection, he gave me pain relief and said  I would be admitted soon to Short Stay. He was very proficient and very professional and had a calming manner.

I was admitted to Short Stay and Nurse Kathleen was just wonderful. She ordered me a vegetarian meal that was both very tasty and hot, compliments to the kitchen, and she was both cheerful, attentive and made the Short Stay go fast.

Great staff all around on that day, although I was quite sick, they made it all move along well, all were so nice and helpful.

Dear Kitten,

It is not a nice thing to have to experience a kidney infection, nor to attend an Emergency Department and so I am really pleased that your experience was positive and that the staff were helpful.

I hope you are doing ok now. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback. I will make sure James and Kathleen and the staff receive your feedback - I know they will be very chuffed.
