I had fallen onto the coping of my pool and was carrying a huge haematoma. I was in extreme pain.
For about 4 Hours I was cared for by a wonderful team of professionals, including triage nurse Helen, Dr Chris, the Radiology staff, Andrew the wardsman, Tim in Phsyio and the great volunteer in ER. Between them all I could not have been better managed.
I was impressed by a feeling that all these folk took ownership of their duties.
It was ''their'' hospital and they were proud to be part of the team. I would like their efforts to be recognised in some way.
