(as a relative),

A very belated but sincere thank you to the Doctors and Nurses and all the caring staff at Rockingham Hospital one night a few months ago. It was my elderly parent's birthday and they had been suffering vertigo and feeling unwell for a few days. They finally relented in going to the hospital instead of their birthday celebrations.

My parent was treated with such respect and care and was thoroughly looked after with a myriad of tests to ensure they were ok to go home. Thank you to Dr Matt and Nurse Rick.

Nurse Rick was particularly impressive, with his kind, calm manner and his warmth when he asked where my parent was from and made them feel very respected and valued. He also ensured I had a hot drink and was comfortable while I waited with my parent until the early hours of the morning. 

My thanks to all for the professionalism and warmth.

I would like to thank you for your lovely response in relation to the care and respect your parent received at Rockingham General Hospital’s Emergency Department.

Our staff consider it an honour to provide the highest care for our patients. We understand that it is important to make them feel as comfortable as possible during what can be a distressing experience.

It is always an immense pleasure to receive positive feedback from patients and their families regarding the high level of care and the ‘personal touch’ provided by our staff, and this is no exception. I will gladly pass on your message to the staff members you have mentioned and their team.
