"Very poor standard of meals"

A close relative of mine is in an Aged Care facility in Murray Bridge - the Lerwin Nursing Home. I have visited on several occasions and my relative tells me what food is served.

Christmas day lunch consisted of sliced deli ham and gravy plus a few other odd assortments. Really!?  I believe the elderly should be treated with dignity and be able to look forward to meals at least. In my opinion, here this is definitely not the case where they are served what I feel is such un-appetizing swill. Apparently even the soup served is sub-standard. How hard is it to make nourishing tasty soup!

I felt so angry this is supposed to be acceptable that they are fed what, in my opinion, amounts to not only food that tastes bland is just awful but  would not be nourishing at all.
