I was recently suffering from a severe attack of cellulitis and went to my GP. Immediately they sent me to the Emergency Department of Prince of Wales Hospital. The service there was excellent. Dr James attended to me and after that, I was given an IV. After that, I was put to Hospital in the Home Service. For a few weeks, nurses and doctors came to see me and monitor my condition. Dr Emily and nurses Suneeta, Sue, Andrew, Dorothy, Jeff and Charlotte were superb. They did an excellent job to cure my cellulitis.
Unfortunately, even after 10 days of IV I was still not fully cured as I had a big wound (abscess) on the leg which gave me unbearable pain. Later they put me on oral medication and asked me to go to the GP. A week later, again the GP sent me to the ED as my wound was really bad. When I went there Deborah (NP) took me over and did a great job to take out the pus from the abscess. Though it was very painful they did the job with great care and patience. Deborah had a lot of patience to explain and do everything very caringly. I had to go again for the follow-up. The wound was healing up gradually but still I needed oral antibiotics and to see the GP for a follow-up.
I am writing this to inform your Department that your staff that treated me are wonderful. Very loving and caring. I believe they know their stuff and were very confident. They have a lot of patience. Thank you very much for the whole staff who attended me. Thank you once again.
"Very loving and caring staff"
