"Poor customer service"

About: St George Hospital

(as the patient),

I write this to complain of the poor customer service I received at St. George Hospital in Kogarah.

I went recently with symptoms of sore throat, fever and headache, in fear of having contracted the coronavirus, because I may have been exposed to the virus from my workplace.

The staff member at the counter made fun of me, in my opinion. They started laughing and sharing the fun with, I believe, their colleagues. After their mockery, they told me that I have to pay hundreds of dollars to see a nurse (not doctor for this high amount of money), also said that I might have to wait several hours for that and laughed again. So for their, I felt, lack of respect, I decided to leave.

Fortunately, the next day I attended a GP and they gave me proper attention.

However, I want to complain of the poor service I received from this place, especially for the lack of respect for me. I felt it was awful service and mockery with patients.
