"My eye surgery"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / 1 East (Ophthalmology)

(as the patient),

Dr Macdonald of Sydney Eye Hospital has given me a new life, my right was so bad that l wasn't able to see anything, alighting from trains l was about to fall in the gaps many times, I couldn't read the numbers of buses and I often caught the wrong buses and ended up nowhere. Everything looked dull, can't recognise anyone, knocked myself many times. l was very worried every morning when l woke up, lots of times l was about to have accidents with trams, cars, especially when there was no pedestrian crossings.

l had my eye surgery on the a few days ago, next day my dressing was removed, at that very moment l realised that everything was nice and bright in the Eye Hospital, sun was bright, omg. l would like to thank Dr. MacDonald from the bottom of my heart for giving me a new life. Dr. Macdonald is my hero and he did a brilliant job. From my experience, he treats his patients like his own family, l wish Dr MacDonald all good things in his life.

God bless all the best.

Dear orionrb76,

Eye sight is very precious and I am delighted to hear of the good outcome that Dr Macdonald helped to achieve. Thank you also for recognising the efforts of Dr Macdonald. I will ensure this is shared with him. It’s always great for our staff to hear back of the positive impact they have had on our patients.

All the best

Dr Pauline Rumma
