I’ve had two stays as an inpatient at the Albany Health Campus. Both times there were nurses who went above and beyond, they made my stay so much more pleasurable than I could have asked for. Here’s the nurses that stood out to me:
Medical Ward:
- Chloe, she always walked in with a friendly smile and was down for a chat, she was encouraging and often made my smile.
- Cassie, loving nature. I woke up from a bad dream one night, she didn’t know but she popped in and sat with me for a while, such a sweetheart!
- Tara (I think), sat in my room with me and was really encouraging, she was easy to talk to and so lovely. I felt really comfortable chatting with her!
- Ken, super great guy. Offered wonderful support and advice.
Surgical Ward:
- Angela, taught me the importance of considering the cause and effect when beginning the healing process in life.
- Monique, one of my favourite nurses. Spent my first night with me during my first admission. Always there for me and really encouraging. I loved our chats and getting to know her. She kept in contact with me after I left the hospital and even went out of her way to come visit me during my second admission. Such a blessing!
That’s only a few to name but there are so many lovely nurses here who have blessed me and taught me so much. I’ll never forget the dedication and care shown by the staff.
Thank you! X
