"Exceptional care at Geraldton Hospital & Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital"

About: Geraldton Hospital / Emergency Department Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital / Intensive Care Unit

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Geraldton Hospital via the Emergency Department (ED) and was then flown to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) Clinical Care Unit (CCU).

The service I received from the Geraldton Hospital ED staff and the CCU staff has been exemplary in my opinion. The doctors and staff at Geraldton showed professionalism beyond expectations. A special thank you to Simone, MJ, Rachael and Noreen for their care and all the staff in High Dependency Unit and the doctors Dr Roy, Dr Divine and Dr Mohammed, Dr Binu and Dr Joon-Quing (Jason) - your care was exceptional. 

A huge thank you to the CCU at SCGH - I believe the care, commitment and professional service is exceptional and compassionate beyond words. All the doctors and nurses have gone beyond the call off duty to make me feel comfortable and well looked after.

A special mention to Janet and Katie, you are all a great team.

Your story highlights the calibre of staff we have working in our service and confirms that it certainly does take a team to provide healthcare to our community.

We are very fortunate to have such caring, dedicated health professionals working for our organisation and it's stories like yours which allows us to acknowledge the wonderful work our staff do each and every day. Our organisation works in partnership with our metro hospitals and the wonderful Royal Flying Doctors (RFDS), these partnerships are integral to providing health care services to our community.
