Recently I attended Monash Health, Casey for a procedure in the Medical Imaging Department. I just wanted to say how great the staff I dealt with were. The nurses were very caring, explained what would be happening and provided continual reassurance. The Dr ensured that the procedure was clearly explained, and I was continually kept informed of what was going on, before, during and after the procedure.
As a member of the health care profession, it is a different experience to be on the other side as a patient and not be in control of what is happening, so I was very appreciative of the care I received. To have a reassuring hand on mine was comforting when I was being poked and prodded.
