"Great care at Sale Hospital"

About: Sale Hospital / Emergency Department Sale Hospital / Surgical Services/Ward

(as the patient),

I came home from work with severe stomach pain and my partner called an ambulance. I was then transported to the Sale ED for treatment. After going through the process of the standard questions and tests I was sent for a CT Scan and the results from came back that I had appendicitis and I would have to be admitted to the surgical ward. After waiting for about an hour for a bed to become available I was sent to the ward. The next morning my appendix was removed. I spent 2 nights in the surgical ward after my operation.

I just want to say that the staff in the ED and on the surgical ward are just amazing. It seemed nothing was too much trouble. While on the ward there were a couple of, I believe, trying patients but the staff were always professional and friendly in my opinion. I have been to Sale Hospital a couple of times and have found the staff great here. Thank you to the doctors and nurses I dealt with.
