"Bunbury ICU"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as a relative),

Last week my father was admitted to Bunbury Regional Hospital ICU after attending ED. The care that he received from both the ED and ICU staff was amazing. My dad was very unwell and very unhappy about being in hospital and it was a difficult time for us all as a family. The staff were so kind to both of my parents and to my sibling and myself. Medical, nursing, clerical and domestics were all so helpful and it made a stressful time so much easier. As a registered nurse at another WACHS site I was very impressed with the care. My dad is now home and getting better and I thank you all so much.

Dear brabo59,

Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback about your father’s stay at Bunbury Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. The staff will be very grateful to hear it. I have passed the post on to the managers of the areas and they will make sure a copy of the story goes to all the staff. I will also ask that the managers have your post read out at their next respective team meetings.

I was really pleased to hear that the care, kindness and teamwork across the whole department made the experience for your father so much easier as well as for you and your family. Being a registered nurse yourself, we are thrilled with your assessment of the impressive work that occurs every day in the ICU.

It is great to hear that your father is recovering well and we all wish him the best for the future.

Thanks again for taking the time to post such positive feedback.

Regards

Glen Matters
