"Acute Gallstone attack"

Service at Kerang by nursing staff was exceptional, the nurse used the Dr App for an on-call doctor, was given pain relief, IV inserted and blood collected care was very good. Ambulance who collected me and transferred me to Swan Hill were really good.

On arrival at Swan Hill, I was greeted by a nurse just before midday, there were two who attended my observations and cared for me and collected more blood. But the Dr who was in the ED at night recently spoke to me once, my examination was them pushing on my abdomen once. They never spoke to me about any care or what they thought. In the morning I asked one of the nurses what was happening, they said not sure, they would check. The nurse went and spoke with the doctor then came back and told me they didn’t know.

At change of shift another nurse came over to me and said so you are waiting for your spouse, I then asked am I going? They said yes. My IVC was removed and I was told to wait for my spouse in the waiting room, I believe they 1&1/2 hours away, I was not offered a warm drink, only a glass of water during the night and at no time did l see the Doctor again.

Firstly I apologise for the delay in responding to you. The delay was due to your feedback being lodged on a platform which we were not aware of, and until now were not a member of.
