"Wonderful care at St John of God Hospital Subiaco"

I recently had surgery in this hospital and would like to thank the wonderful staff, in particular; Gemma (Pharmacist), Crystal & Sian (Nursing Staff).

I have had a number of surgeries in most of the Private Hospitals in Perth Metro and this is by far the best hospital, in my opinion. As I am an Asplenic patient, any surgery is a very scary prospect but I felt all the staff were well informed and caring.

I felt the whole process, from Admission to Discharge, ran smoothly, it seemed staff were very happy to help in any way possible. I would like to compliment the Management of this Hospital on fostering an environment where it seems the staff are respected & happy. I feel the staff obviously enjoy their work and I believe this is reflected in outstanding patient care.

I wish to give a huge thank you to Gemma (Pharmacist) for going the extra mile and checking that I was aware that as an Asplenic patient I need to follow a protocol of vaccinations. I find it amazing the number of Medical professionals that either does not know or I believe just can’t be bothered to inform their patients that you need regular vaccinations, carry emergency antibiotics and are at risk of OPSI. So thank you, Gemma.
