Recently, we visited a local GP practice as I wanted to get my child's chest listened to as they had a bad flare up with their asthma since the weekend. We were told to wait out in our car due to my child's symptoms and the GP would call. The GP called and advised that they wouldn't see my child in the clinic due to their symptoms. I advised that the reason for the appointment was to get my child's chest listened to and was advised that this couldn't be done and if they got worse to take my child to the Geraldton Hospital ED.
The next day I took my child to the Geraldton Hospital ED as they still didn't feel better and also felt nauseous. The treatment and quick care we received from the triage nurse and doctor was amazing. My child's chest was listened to and I was put at ease knowing that the doctor checked them properly and advised to come back in a few days if my child still wasn't any better. So thank you Geraldton Hospital for putting my mind at ease.
