About: Maroondah Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I presented to ED at Maroondah Hospital.  From the Triage Nurse Jenny to Dr Emily and Dr Helen (who has previously literally saved my life, for which I will always be so beyond grateful for), Nurses Alexandra, Kristy, Leanne, and all the others, thank you.  Especially during these trying of times, they were absolutely brilliant. It’s always hard looking after a patient who has chronic problems which need to be taken into account when dealing with my acute / presenting problem.  

I asked to be transferred to a private hospital to free up a bed in the public system.  Thanks again Maroondah for all your help and professionalism. It’s much appreciated. Stay safe.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share these comments regarding your positive experience when attending the Emergency Department at Eastern Health's Maroondah Hospital. It is wonderful to hear first hand how the staff, particularly Dr Emily, Dr Helen, Nurses Alexandra, Kristy, Leanne and others made such a difference.

It's very clear to me they all demonstrated the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility.

I trust your stay in the private hospital lived up to this experience and you are now returning to the best of health.
