At the beginning of the year, I entered the Emergency Department to be managed about gall stones. From the time I entered to the time I was discharged, I felt it was an efficient and pleasant experience.
The nurses in the Emergency Department were great. The doctors and nurse in the area where one is assessed, e.g. blood pressure, blood tests etc., were wonderful in my opinion.
I was eventually wheeled up to the surgical ward and the nurses for the next 24 hours; Kathy, Lateia, Carolyn and Salena were fantastic - a special thanks. I was wheeled into the room before the operating theatre and the two anaesthetists were very good and one of them broke down any apprehensions of the impending operation as we chatted, as I was wheeled to the operating theatre.
I have recovered and I feel better than ever.
