"Customer service"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / 1 East (Ophthalmology)

(as a relative),

I recently visited the Sydney Eye Hospital with my parent.

In my opinion, the number of customers that come through the hospital that I feel seem to be weird is frightening.

One in particular, a patient wanting their eye checked approached the desk and spoke to the lovely lady, Nurse Pratima. The patient wanted to be tested for Coronavirus. The nurse was very helpful but the patient wanted to be attended straight away. They started verbally abusing the nurse on their way out. I believe that credit goes out to all Nurses, Doctors and staff for what they go through.

Thank you. xx

Dear eaglexr53,

Thank you for taking the time to share this experience with us. Pratima and all our staff are working hard to provide our community with high-quality care during the pandemic and your story shows how they demonstrated levels of integrity and professionalism we are proud of. Please be assured that we will pass your feedback on to Pratima and the staff. It is always nice to receive positive comments but especially at this challenging time.

Kind regards,

Alan
