(as a service user),

I felt awful when I arrived after inhaling sulphuric acid fumes but more or less, as soon as I was looked after (which was almost immediately), the experience and care was extraordinary.

I would like to publicly thank the nurses and the remote doctor in Albany for their care and professional way I was cared for, and I mean I was really cared for after my stupid accident.

Dear Mountblair,

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience of York Hospital and the Doctor from Albany Hospital who works for our Emergency Telehealth Service. I was pleased to read that when you had your accident, you were looked after quickly and that you felt so well cared for by our team.

Hearing these positive experiences really helps to make our workforce feel valued by the people in our communities who entrust us with their health and gives us the opportunity to acknowledge the team for their dedication.

I will be pleased to share your story with Karen Fawkes who is the Acting Health Service Manager at York Hospital so that she can pass it on to the nurses at York Hospital and to Donna Rogers the Director of the WACHS Command Centre so that she can also share it with the Doctors and Nurses who work for the Emergency Telehealth Service.
