"Birth at Northam Hosptial with WMGP"

About: Avon Valley Midwifery Group Practice Northam Health Service

(as the patient),

I gave birth to a healthy boy in Northam late last year, under the care of Wheatbelt Midwifery Group Practice.

The Group deserves recognition for the outstanding service they provide. I have had experience with other healthcare providers in previous pregnancies and although satisfactory, in my opinion, they do not compare to the midwives at the group.

The support I received throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum, I feel was excellent. Thank you for the provision of this first-class service. The convenience to be able to birth closer to home, in the care of competent and experienced midwives is a service I highly value and am very grateful for.

Thank you.

Dear octanskw45,

Congratulations on the birth of your healthy baby boy, and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us in what I’m sure is a very busy time for your family!

We know that birth experiences have a significant impact on a woman’s ongoing health and wellbeing, and I am very proud to hear that your experience was so positive and that you felt so supported by your midwives. I know that our dedicated team at the Wheatbelt Midwifery Group Practice view it as a privilege to partner with women during the pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. We value feedback like yours that supports our desire to provide care closer to home.

I will look forward to sharing your story with the Wheatbelt Midwifery Group Practice Clinical Midwifery Manager in Northam to recognise the efforts of the Wheatbelt Midwifery Group Practice midwives.

Best wishes,

Russell Cockburn
