"COVID Testing"

About: Bunbury Hospital

(as a service user),

My teenager became unwell with a sore throat, cough and a fever.

They were taken to Bunbury COVID clinic for testing. All the staff at the clinic made both my teenager and I feel at ease with their compassion and professionalism.

It was also very nice to receive a follow-up phone call the next day to check on my teenager's wellbeing. My teenager and I appreciate the care we received.

Well done to all the staff working in such difficult conditions.

Dear concernedmum,

Thank you for getting in contact to share your experience of assisting your teenager to be assessed and tested for COVID-19 at the Bunbury COVID Clinic.

I can imagine it was a worrying time as your teenager became unwell and you walked into an unfamiliar environment – uncertain of what may eventuate.

I am very proud of the team at our COVID Clinic who made you feel at ease and guided you both through the process with shining professionalism and compassion. It is pleasing to hear that the welfare check phone call provided extra support to you at home.

Our staff across the entire hospital have done an outstanding job to adapt, prepare, upskill and continue to provide essential care through this challenging period and I thank you for recognising their dedication to protecting the health of our community.

I hope your teenager is recovering well and I will ensure that the clinic staff receives your feedback and appreciation.
