(as the patient),

I was transported by ambulance to Box Hill Hospital recently in agony. It transpired that there was a blockage in one of my kidneys, caused by one of two stones.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to all staff, including doctors, surgeons, nurses and others, in all wards, who treated me with kindness and professionalism, and who made my stay pleasant and my recovery as fast as possible.

In my opinion, you are all wonderful people, doing a great job; once again, thank you for being there.

This must have been a very challenging time for you and I was so pleased to see the impact our wonderful staff had on you. It is evident from your comments the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility were practiced by those involved in your care.
