"Level of service and attention to detail"

About: Riverview Gardens Aged Care Plus Centre

(as a carer),

Hi, I just wanted to pass on my genuine thanks in making my parent and our entire family feel welcome at Riverview Gardens. My parent has only been in residence for a couple of months and during this time we have all had to deal with the COVID-19 crisis and the staff and management have gone above and beyond to ensure that we can still visit our loved ones during this time.

I would like to make special mention of Erica, Jen and Trish in the office, they are always welcoming and ensured that all checks are completed prior to entering the facility. This in itself is a difficult task and I have seen reprisal directed at them for just doing all they can to ensure the safety of all residents. I would also like to thank Sue who identified an issue in my parent's unit and provided a solution to ensure my parent was happy and comfortable. It really made us feel that everyone matters to the staff at Riverview Gardens and I personally couldn't be happier with the care attention my parent receives.

Keep up the good work Team.

Dear equuleusyy68,

Many thanks for taking the team to provide us and the team at Riverview Gardens with your feedback.

It has certainly been a very challenging time with COVID-19 and this would have made, what is already a very big transition for your parent, even more complicated. We have worked hard to keep our Centres open to visitors throughout the pandemic and it is fantastic to see that this effort is recognised and appreciated - thank you.

We also appreciate you calling out the individual efforts of particular staff members and I know that they will be pleased to read that and have that recognition.

I was delighted to read that your view that "everyone matters to the staff" as that is certainly the case and I was pleased to see that coming to life in your comments.

Once again, many thanks for taking the time to write in and provide the feedback, we do appreciate it.

Best regards,

Richard
