My young grandchild had severe stomach pains for 3 days in Geraldton Regional Hospital. Apparently, the government doesn't fund an emergency sonographer so they have left them without having an emergency ultrasound.
What government does this to the Midwest's biggest hospital, that children need to be flown to Perth for an emergency ultrasound. In my opinion, this is absolutely disgusting that Geraldton Regional Hospital hasn't got an emergency sonographer on board.
Please hear my plea because I believe this will happen to a lot of us if we don't get an emergency sonographer available ASAP. Our government needs to wake up and start putting money into regional resources.
