"Residential Care"

About: Pineview Residential Care

(as the patient),

I have been here for a few years now. At that time, it was taken over by a new owner.

Before I move in there, hoping for better health service. I'm diabetics type 2 and a few other medical problems.

I believe one senior staff member is overworked and tired. There is another senior staff member, who is hopeless I feel they are. When I go make a complaint to them and they would say not my problem and seem to fall on deaf ear.

In my opinion, breakfast and lunch are OK, as for afternoon tea, well I believe it's a joke. I feel the senior staff get better food than we do, what a joke. We have a happy hour on Friday, even at 4:30 pm that is a joke in my opinion. You don’t get much to eat.

Wintertime, the place gets really cold at night, and I believe they turn off the heater at 9:00 pm as they don't have a heater on at night and I think it doesn't get switch on after 6:00 am.

Summertime, I feel the air condition system is useless (water cool air fan system) while I believe the office and reception room are a fully refrigerated air conditioning system.

In my opinion, most of the junior staff are really good at the time and they don't stay here long, they leave and find a better job and better pay conditions.

My bedroom not far from the smoking area and it doesn't help me with my health, as I’m not a smoker.
