About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was unwell and I presented to the Emergency Department where I feel I was well looked after by all involved in my care; from triage to when I was transferred to HDU.

Special mention to Nash, a nurse on the resuscitation area, Kaleisha, the triage nurse and Dr Stephanie. Everyone was fantastic in my opinion. The nurses on the floor when I was moved were all lovely and professional.

My experience in HDU was really good. The Doctors were really good at explaining what was happening and treated me with respect. Special mention to Darren the nurse, his reassurance and calmness were very comforting. Renee was really good; so was Diana. Alex was fantastic during my very lowest times. Dr Michelle and Sasha were all thorough in my opinion and explained plans all the time. My experience was fantastic and I felt safe all the time.

Also, the food was really good, quite surprising after the stories I have heard before.

Thank you you all staff for looking after me, the job you do for the community is much, much appreciated.
