"Breastfeeding support"

About: Esperance Community Health Esperance Population Health

(as a service user),

I attended Ali’s breastfeeding course and I felt she went above and beyond in my opinion, providing practical support and the latest evidence-based research. She is passionate, encouraging and supportive. I was always going to breastfeed but I walked away from her course feeling empowered and like I’ve been equipped with all the tools and support I need. What an asset to our community in my opinion.

Dear Impressed123,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your recent experience in the breastfeeding course delivered by our nurse, Ali. I am glad to hear you feel empowered after attending the course.

Ali is a caring and compassionate nurse like all our Community Health Nurses. They are very aware of the importance of taking time to ensure that parents have all of the relevant and up-to-date health information and support to enable them to care for their babies and give them the best start in life. This is particularly important with breastfeeding, which brings health benefits to both mothers and babies, yet can be overwhelming for some parents and can take time to develop confidence and skill.

Thank you to both yourself and your child for your commitment to this important health program. I will ensure that Ali is aware of your kind feedback.

Kind regards,

Trulie Pinnegar
