The nursing and doctor staff at the hospital have been absolutely wonderful. Friendly, efficient, kind and caring and very skilled in my opinion. The support staff who clean and bring me a cuppa and wheel me around the various departments are delightful too.

I have no complaints about my care whatsoever and was fortunate enough to be moved to a private room. It was such a pity that the window blinds were broken and I couldn't see outside, in fact, the nurse told me they have been unable to open the blinds for several years... Maybe the good folk in the maintenance department could progress this repair job so patients can enjoy glimpses of outside. Apart from that, I cannot thank everyone there enough for their care.

Thank you for your positive feedback about the wonderful staff and service at Albany Health Campus. It is reassuring to know that you were well looked after by all our staff during your recent stay and I know that they will enjoy reading your story. I will arrange for your feedback to be distributed throughout the hospital.

I am sorry that you were in a room with a broken blind. Over the years natural wear and tear have taken its toll on some of the hospital blinds and replacing these is rather involved and costly. For health and safety reasons, the specially designed blinds are built into the window and are made to order. To replace the blinds, the window must also be removed and replaced. This process will take time to be complete but please assured that this is a priority at Albany Health Campus. Our maintenance staff have considered and implemented suggestions from staff, patients and visitors to temporarily improve the comfort of our patients. This has included tinting the windows to reduce heat and glare. We would welcome any suggestions you might offer regarding your experience. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at 9892 2620.
