(as the patient),

Thanks to the maternity staff for helping me have the best birthing experience and a great hospital stay. I felt very well looked after throughout my whole stay.

My only feedback to a small number of staff is to treat other staff members with a bit more respect, as someone who has worked a health background I understand that times can be challenging and stressful but it was sad to see that some adults still don't know how to treat others nicely, which in my opinion, also looked very unprofessional.

Thank you for your feedback. I am really pleased that your birthing experience was overall a very positive one, a birth is such an important experience to get right. Without losing sight of your positive comments, I also take on board your observations of staff interactions and have referred this to the Maternity Unit who will review it at their next ward meeting. We openly embrace any feedback that gives us the opportunity to improve.
