I believe there are restrictions of space in the ward compared to the usual rehab ward of P1W.
I am sharing with 3 other people and we have found that in the morning the restrictions of space seems to take up more time for the staff to prepare you for showering.
There are only 2 showers so we need to wait extra time and I believe that delays our appointments with OT and physio classes. I believe I received less rehab therapies daily as a result of this compared to when rehab was on P1W. I believe this is due to less nursing staff available than when I was on P1W as well as the physical ward environment.
This occurs more so in the afternoons and at night when there are often only 2 staff on the ward. Sometimes because of these restrictions, I feel there is less time to do the actual physical rehab work and I believe that due to all the above my stay in hospital is prolonged. I hope my feedback will help to improve these setbacks. P. S. without prejudice.
