We were under the impression that my child would be seen by a physician who would help with iv infusions due to their medical condition. We were told this will happen but the dr who saw us first asked if they were feeling symptomatic that day, my child said no.
In the letter we were provided with, it said denied any history of dizziness or headaches. No, my child did not, just didn’t have any the day of the appointment. My child constantly had dizziness and headaches. Then also in the appointment, it seemed they googled my child's condition and diagnosis in front of us! Never once asked us about it, I get it's rare, but if you don’t know, ask, or in my opinion, go away and google.
Our GP was as mortified as we are! We avoid ED at all costs because, in my opinion, we are hit with brick walls, this time the conversation started with, my child is really complex and now they're an adult we really need a local team, so I thought we were finally getting somewhere! That dr disappeared and we were left with Dr Google!
So angry and I feel it really plays with my child's mental health when someone does this😡😡
