"Emergency Ophthalmologist visit on a weekend"

I recently presented to Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Ophthalmologist Dr Neharika, from a rural hospital with a possible retinal detachment.  

I have private insurance, however, it appears that no private Ophthalmologists work on weekends in South-West Queensland. My spouse drove me over 3 hours to PAH, and I was understandably very concerned.

We were taken through emergency & then up to see Dr Neharika. She was so kind, considerate and knowledgeable, and made us feel very comfortable from the minute we walked in.    

Much to our relief, there was no retinal detachment. I would really like to acknowledge this positive medical experience with such a professional and compassionate Doctor.    

Please pass my gratitude onto her, and I believe in a world where complaints are more forthcoming than compliments, this is very important.
