"My recent visit to Fremantle Hospital"

Last month, I had a full hip replacement at Freo Hospital and was out of there on a Monday morning. (Incredible).

I have just returned home now from having the dressing removed and all is good.

Recently in the morning my dog and l walked about a kilometre, me on one crutch. (Once again...incredible).

I'm just writing to say that from the first time l entered the glass sliding doors during early hours of the morning last month, till my visit in the afternoon recently, All the staff that attended to me have been absolutely fantastic. Friendly, super helpful and just a pleasure to be around them.

Reception, orderlies. nurses, doctors and miscellaneous staff, everyone!

You should be very proud of them, hence my letter.

A friend of mine is a temp at Freo and they said that if you're going to be ill, there's no better place to be than Australia.

Maybe the Premier should also be made aware in my opinion.

Since then, the crutches were abandoned completely after about 3 and a half weeks.
