"Appointment with GP for my baby"

About: GPs in the Burt Electoral District

(as a service user),

Our baby had a cough for over 3-weeks, a lot of phlegm, and then over two days, prior to the GP appointment, they had a fever of over 38 degrees on and off, additionally they had a blood spot in their eye the day before the appointment.

The doctor said there was nothing to be concerned about, the doctor did check my baby's temperature, I believe they never used the stethoscope to check their breathing or heart rate.

When I shared that they had a fever for the last two nights consecutively, the doctor said because my baby had a beanie on, despite we told them otherwise (we had just arrived at the doctor's office with a beanie as it was very cold and wet outside travelling from car to clinic).

The doctor made me feel that I was worried about nothing and it seemed that they did not really care much about the patient condition.
