I was fortunate enough to be a recipient of the tremendous, tailored and consistent care provided by the Midwifery Group Practice at Box Hill. I gave birth to my child earlier this year and the care provided by the team, and in particular, by my appointed midwife, Vanessa was outstanding.
Vanessa supported me through my birthing fears and was a strong advocate for my preferences throughout the pregnancy and during labour. I credit Vanessa with the healthy birth of my little baby, my very positive birth experience and a smooth transition into motherhood, for which my family and I are very, very grateful.
From my experience, I can only hope that more women are given the opportunity to partake in a Midwifery Group Practice model in the years ahead.
