"Amazing job by the staff testing"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital

(as the patient),

I attended the Fiona Stanley Hospital's COVID Clinic as I was unwell. I was feeling nervous upon my arrival as I have heard mixed stories around the test being uncomfortable.

Once I arrived at the Clinic, the staff were amazing, ensuring that I understood everything they asked and told me. As I was concerned I had a chest infection and was now unable to see a Dr until my results came back, the Nurse in the Clinic asked for their Dr to see me. I felt all staff were professional and made my uncomfortable experience feel safe and bearable.

I would like to thank the staff that took care of me and the kind Dr that saw me. I feel less stressed and want others to know that the experience isn’t at all that terrifying. Thank you again, the staff at the COVID Clinic, you're doing an amazing job!

Dear Scaredpatient0720,

Thank you for your kind words and appreciation of our COVID clinic team. It is heartening to read that you found the staff who cared for you to be professional and supportive. Our COVID clinic staff aim to provide reassurance to everyone who attends the clinic, understanding the anxiety that being tested and waiting on results can bring. We are proud of the level of commitment our staff bring to their roles and they are always delighted when they receive recognition from patients and their families. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback and I hope you are recovering well.

Kind regards,

Neil Doverty
