"Excellent Child Health Services in Karratha"

I recently took my youngest child to have their immunisations at Pilbara Population Health at the Karratha Health Campus.

In the three years that I have been accessing this service in Karratha, we have always received exceptional care from the Child Health team, and after another wonderful visit to the clinic, I felt compelled to write in to express my appreciation.

This visit, we saw Belinda. She engaged beautifully with my children from the first greeting in the waiting room and helped both of them to feel very much at ease in the clinic environment. My older child is particularly anxious around strangers and in new settings, and she was able to involve them and make them feel valued for their contributions. I have no doubt that such positive and empowering experiences accessing health care in their early years will pay dividends in terms of lifelong health outcomes for my children.

Belinda was clear and thorough with the information provided throughout the appointment and able to assist me with another child health query, unrelated to the main reason for our visit.

The Child Health Nurses at Karratha Health Campus are always so knowledgeable and supportive. I always feel welcomed and that there is plenty of time to answer questions or discuss any concerns and know this experience has been the same for many other families that we come into contact in our social circles. The team should be commended on the fantastic service they are providing in this community. Keep up the great work!
