Went to St John of God Midland Emergency Department. I was aware that I had tacky AF. Not wanting to annoy the nurse at the door, I took a seat in the waiting room. 5 mins went by and I started to feel quite unwell. The nurse at the door noticed, asked why I was in the ED. I told her I was tacky AF.

Within 10mins I was checked in and hooked up to an IV. I had 4 doctors talk with me during the process. They were all very good. In the end, Dr Tennika followed through with the rest of my treatment. The meds didn’t get me out of AF so I had to be shocked to get my heart back on track.

I’ve had many doctors in my life for various reasons. If my life was on the line I would pick Dr Tennika 100 times out of 100. Very professional, focused and informative.

Although a lot was going on, she found the time to explain the process leaving me with no doubts and feeling comfortable. I’m sure it was a basic procedure for her but she approached it as if it was the most important thing she was doing at that time, even to the point that someone came in just before the procedure to ask her a question. She asked them to wait because she was prepping for sedation.

One shock got me back on track. Family relieved and thankful to Dr Tennika. I would trust you with my life anytime but not anytime soon, I hope.
