In my opinion, the nurse who was taking peoples temperatures at the entry was being very rude.
I had an appointment at 10 am, I was there with a few minutes to spare and the nurse wouldn't let me pass through, I told them I had an appointment at a certain time and they said there was still 3 minutes to go so they told me to go back outside and wait with the others. I felt they were being very dismissive and rude to almost everyone. So I waited with 20 other people.
People were just waiting in the doorway and outside the doorway, making it hard for people to get in and out of the hospital.
Once the 3 minutes was up, everyone just lined back up again and it took longer, the line was very long and then there were about 20 people waiting for the lift. I had to wait for 5lifts to go by before I could get on and then I was about 10min late to my appointment.
Firstly, I don't understand the logic behind this, I wasn't a visitor, I was a patient, so I believe they should have let me through as it takes time to get to where I needed to be.
Secondly, there was no social distancing in the doorway or outside of it, and most importantly, how you can allow your staff to be so rude to patients and visitors is beyond me. There's a proper way to talk to and address people, not to point and dismiss and say go wait over there.
