"I felt comfortable and well supported"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Community Midwifery Program King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I was supported throughout my pregnancy, birth and delivery by the Midwife Group Practice 4, and more specifically, Sarah and Liz. The care and support I received was exemplary.

It was so reassuring to know that I was receiving personalised support as a result of the continuity of care. The MGP program also ensured I could always contact someone for urgent and non-urgent questions who knew me and my medical history, which was very reassuring.

I ended up needing to be induced and upon arrival at the hospital, I was greeted by Liz, who knew me and what I needed. Consequently, I felt comfortable and well supported throughout my labour and birth.

I needed some minor surgery after the delivery and really appreciated the consultant, Will, taking a little extra time to talk to us.

Dear centauruscy95,

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby and taking your precious time to send your feedback about your experience.

The MGP4 program is very special to us here at KEMH and we are thrilled to receive the feedback of the exemplary care you received from beginning to end.

I will ensure that the staff, including Sarah and Liz are provided with your kind words.

Thank you again for your feedback and I hope you are feeling much better after your surgery.

I wish you and your family the very best for the future.

Kind regards

Jodi Graham
