Went to appointment as referred by GP for pelvic pain, now severe enough that I cannot stand for long. I have a long history of UTI's plus blood in urine with no infection. I have now become incontinent which has started a few months ago. Was interviewed by a nurse who told me to try an acid free diet for 3 months as I might have cystitis. I have had no internal examination and feel like I have a tennis ball in my pelvic area which is radiating though my lower back on the left hand side.
I am at a loss as to why I am not having any type of investigation as I often have blood in my urine but tests come back as negative for infection. I will not be seen for another 3 months. I am not happy being left in considerable pain which is affecting my quality of life and I thought the nurse's response was very generic i.e., one size fits all.
"Lack of investigation into my health concerns"
