(as the patient),

Since I’m only a teenager and had no family members accompanying me at the hospital, I was so worried and nervous while waiting for my surgery. However, once I got called in, the nurses were super nice to me!

Even whilst in the operating room, the nurses, the surgeons, and the person giving me the anaesthetic were so caring and we had a nice talk. We even laughed sometimes and although I was still a little bit nervous, I felt a lot more comfortable and I stopped feeling worried.

Everyone was so caring and kind, and I’m so thankful for that because it made my first surgery experience a good one and I can happily share the story with my friends.

After the surgery, I went home feeling really happy!
