"Post coronary bypass surgery"

About: Primary & Community Care - Wonthaggi

(as a service user),

Nothing happened, the question is what should have happened?

I was discharged from another hospital after a triple coronary bypass and told my after surgery care will be done by the Wonthaggi hospital.

The cardiac nurse was supposed to be helping me, I believe they have chosen not to.  The full extent of my post-surgery care has been Zoom chats in which, in my opinion, all of my questions have been either ignored or the nurse's response has in effect been to tell someone who cares.

After many weeks of what I believe to be pointless Zoom chats, the cardiac nurse has sent me a certificate that I believe says they are done with me, no help will be forthcoming.

Hi indigocp66,

I am sorry that your experience was not a positive one especially after such a significant operation.

I would be very keen to follow up on a number of these issues with you and also ensure you have any ongoing support you may require. I wonder if you would be happy to call or text me on 0488 584 080 so that we can review your care.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback which helps us to continually review and improve our services.

Kind Regards

Noni
