After being transferred to Dandenong Hospital from rural Vic l was taken to the emergency department as I believe no beds were available in the hospital. l was kept there for about 20 hours before surgery and then admission to ward. My stay was for 6 days and it all went well, it was difficult with all the COVID restrictions, I felt the staff were doing their best for all patients. My pain management was attended to.
