"MGP4 program"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

We went through the MGP4 for our second baby. It was such a great experience compared to our first where we would see someone different every time. It because tedious and confusing!

This time seeing the same midwife, I felt like she understood me and my needs. By the time I gave birth it was like you were best friends!

I gave birth to my baby within about 2 minutes after arriving at the hospital! And Liz did such an amazing job keeping me calm and delivering my baby. Then went on to deliver my placenta without a bleed! My previous birth, I lost 2.2L so I was quite scared this would happen again. Liz handled everything so well and I hope I can have her again for the next baby!

Dear yellowpn73,

I would like to extend my congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your second baby. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

I am pleased to hear that you had such a positive experience with our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) team and I will ensure that your kind feedback is provided to Liz.

Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) is extremely proud of the support that the MGP teams provide to our patients and their families. WNHS would like to expand our MGP service for our families in the future so more women in the community can experience the peace of mind of the continued care model.

Thank you again for sharing your experience with me. I wish you and your family all the best.

Kind regards

Jodi Graham
