I'm a young new hip recipient. I have used the public list locally which is quite a young event in our town! I was so impressed with the service and professionalism of the teams that prepared me prior to my op, during the event and post-operative.
Their cohesive methods of operation and knowledge of the post-op issues I faced, gave me security and comfort during a time when I felt very vulnerable. The nursing staff were kind, efficient and professional and I'm grateful that due to their level of care a PE was picked up and swiftly dealt with so I could get well enough to get myself home.
The teams that unite to offer such services locally along with the hospital staff, from doctors to nurses, tea personnel, to the cheerful man cleaning, should all be commended on their dedicated, caring and professional work.
You all are a credit to Busselton Hospital and Health Campus.
