"My time in Mental Health Care"

About: Logan Hospital / Acute Mental Health Care

(as the patient),

I spent 1.5 weeks in Ward 2J. For Mental Health Care. I highly recommend for anyone who is in crisis and needs help/ respite etc.

Very very clean, food was so delicious. I believe staff are run off their feet because they never stop caring. Hats off to them, they run a tight ship. This was such a healing experience, I was petrified to go in. It's not scary, it's actually a very safe environment.

I watched people come in not being able to put together sentences/broken to being almost put back together and communicating well enough, I feel, to fit into societies standards. A mention to Anna, Bradley, Helen, Abby, Linda, Lexi, Val, Amir, Kanchan, Rach, Beck, Francoisè. Special Mention to Deb, Bea, Tim. 

In my opinion, parents need not to worry for their children, although impossible, rest assured they are safe if in here. 

I can't rate this place highly enough. If you aren't a grateful person, I believe you will be after your stay here.
